I am a lazy blogger

PLUS as evident from our blog, I don't take very many pictures.

But luckily we have friends that do. Here are a couple of posts that include us.

These are some photos that a friend took one night when our husbands convinced us to walk a round of golf with them for our date night. She takes awesome photos and if you are in the Minneapolis area looking for a photographer, you should definitely give her a call.

and

While in Texas (so early June), another friend took some photos of us and my belly. I have no idea how much sweat she had to photoshop out, but I think they turned out pretty great.

and from a little bit longer ago...

This is my sister's post of a baby shower in April and in Utah with some close family and friends. It is funny to look back at these pictures from just a couple month ago when my clothing fit much differently.

Just Golfing

(This maybe the most tech-savvy thing I have done in my ENTIRE LIFE. But I guess that is what happens when Jamie leaves me alone for the weekend.)

picasion

This is Jamie playing the 18th green at Bandon Dunes in Oregon today. Jamie is wearing the orange shirt and told me when to watch the webcam. I caught this series of pictures which includes Jamie putting for par...and making it...reveling in the victory...getting the group to wave at the camera...then calling me on the phone as they are wheeling their bags out. Just a little evidence of Jamie having the time of his life.

Since this is a pretty sporadic blog post, I might as well include some other random details from our lives. yolo.

1.  I started a job in St. Paul at the Children's Hospital and Clinics lab. My first day was Monday and much less eventful than I thought. Turns out three days of Human Resources Orientation is a little over-kill.  Especially for someone that is going to maternity leave in 4 weeks and doesn't have much of an attention span left. It seems to be going well and I remembered how much I missed working these last couple of months.

2.  Jamie and I have eaten the equivalent of 8 zucchinis in the last week. 5 from the farmers' market last week and one gigantic one (I am counting it as 3 normal size ones) from our friends the James' garden. Baby James is going to be part man, part zucchini.

3.  8:30 pm on Friday night may be the best time to go grocery shopping in Minneapolis. I got the second closest parking spot, did my shopping in 20 minutes, then walked straight up to a cashier to pay for said groceries. #winning

4. At my last check-up, the baby was head down and about 5 pounds. I don't know how the doc could estimate the weight by touching my belly, but she did. (Which by the way reminds me of the 3 pound babies that I am drawing blood on at work and thinking, "I could definitely have my baby if these ones are surviving.")

SACO

For those who didn't know, I joined a community orchestra here in Minneapolis a couple weeks after we moved in. Half because I wanted to, half because Jamie made me do it. It was the St. Anthony Civic Orchestra and it being the end of their summer season, I was able to attend one rehearsal then spend the rest of the time performing with them. Most of the music was patriotic marches and (of course) written originally for bands so they had a 4-flat key signature.

There were 6 concerts: consisting of concerts in the local parks and local churches. Here is a picture of the last performance at the local Lutheran church.

35 Weeks

I couldn't get Jamie to take a picture of me last week, but here is one for week 35.
